Robbin Van Pelt

ROBBIN VAN PELT is a well known PHOTOGRAPHER and a leading GHOST RESEARCHER from the state of Maryland. She founded the organization "The United States Ghosts Chasers" in 2005 and operates "The Ghost of Havre De Grace" with Ed Rybczynski.

She is also an ordained minister who performs Wedding Ceremonies.

Robbin graduated from Cecil College in 2008 with an A.A.S. in Visual Commuications, along with several other certifications in digital imaging and photography. In 1986 she received certification as a Professional Photographic Laboratory Technician. She also has a certification, as a Web Graphics Designer from Harford Community College. Her background experience extends into criminal justice, computer repair and networking, electronics, and videography. She has been involved with the paranormal since 1984. She worked for 10 years as a top level photographer for the Department of Defense and as a digital technician for the Noritsu Corporation. She was also an owner of Battaglia Security and Investigations. Robbin was the Director of Operations and Photo/Video Analyst for The Maryland Paranormal Investigators Coalition. She was Vice-President of Baltimore County Paranormal Research. Robbin uses her skills to help such groups as Southern Ghost from Florida, The Baltimore Society of Paranormal Research, The New Jersey Ghost Hunters Society, and The Chester County Paranormal Research Society. She also help to put together the 3 "Eastern Regional Ghost Conferences" held in Maryland and Gettysburg. Robbin has investigated with the best of the best in paranormal research such as Mark Nesbitt of “The Ghost of Gettysburg” fame, Troy Taylor the author of The Ghost Hunters Guide Book and many other ghost books and Founder of American Ghost Society, Rosemary Ellen Guiley author of The Encyclopedia of Ghosts and Spirits and many other books and articles, John Zaffis the God Father of Demonology, and Jeff Belanger Author, Lecturer, and the owner of Ghostvillage.com Robbin was published in her 1st book written by Lynda Lee Macken called Haunted Baltimore. She is also in Ed Okonowicz’s book Baltimore Ghost, Vince Wilson’s Ghost Tech and Ghost Science, Katherine Sarro's Haunted Philidelphia, Mark Sarro/Carol Starr's Haunted Gattysburg and is mentioned in Rosemary Ellen Guiley's Encyclopedia of Ghosts & Spirits 3rd Edition She was in the October 2004 issue of Baltimore Magazine and has also appeared on the local TV stations in Baltimore and in local papers, The Beltsville News, Capital News .. and What’s Happening Baltimore Oct. 2005, FATE magazine, the TV show Creepy Canada in 2005 at the USS Constellation and Edgar Allan Poe’s Grave at the Westminster Catacombs. Robbin also filmed an episode for The Discovery Channel in 2006 at the Edgar Allan Poe House in Baltimore and is working on writing her own book on Havre De Grace Maryland's Hauntings and History.
